Royal Silk Class (Business)

THAI invites you on a journey, smooth as silk in our elegant business class cabins inspired by the rich culture and heritage of Thailand.

Start your journey with a refreshing beverage, possibly a sparkling champagne, tropical juices or their signature 'Violet Breeze', a blend of chilled lime juice and pressed Thai butterfly-pea blossoms. Then Recline in comfort and take advantage of thousands of audio and video selections on demand, or work in serene and relaxing surrounds as the cabin crew attend to all of your needs with gracious warmth. The seat is a personal lounge-office-bed in the clouds which indulges your diverse needs as you journey to your destination. Cabin and seat luxuries vary between routes and aircraft; details cater to the unique character of each route with constant upgrades and added innovations.

On THAI's Airbus A380s and new model Boeing 777s and 787s, Royal Silk Class passengers enjoy 180-degree fully lie-flat beds. Other aircraft offer angled seating, typically between 160 to 170 degrees. Seats on all routes offer extensively customisable configurations enabling you to select your optimum balance of head/back/leg angle and lumbar support. Nearly all flights offer audio and visual programmes on demand within personal 15- to 16-inch touch screens. You have a full library of over 100 international films, hundreds of television titles and hundreds of music CDs at your fingertips. PC power plugs are available at all Royal Silk seats, and most also offer USB ports should you wish to view your own media files on the in-seat flat screen.

All Royal Silk guests enjoy distinctive culinary offerings, dedicated award-winning service and access to the superb lounges of THAI and our partner airlines around the world. THAI's global chefs create a regularly changing choice of menu items. With their artistic talents, they draw from each season and the desires of our cherished Royal Silk travellers. Select from sublime Thai dishes, foods showcasing the culinary heritage of each route's destination and contemporary international cuisine. Depending on the length of your flight, you may be lavished with a range of courses and meal services: sumptuous canapes, salads, soups, bakery baskets, mains, cheese and fruit courses, desserts and cocktail service.
